This is what's been going on in our house lately...lots of reading. When the rain falls, the books come out and everybody crawls into bed to read. I love it.
We finally broke down and replaced DS' old, gigantic Captain's bed with a much more space efficient loft bed. His room seems so much bigger now and he loves sleeping up high.
We moved an old computer desk into his room, and he bought the armchair for $15 off Craigslist today. The chair will soon be covered with his Canucks blanket, to match the rest of the Canucks paraphanalia affixed to the walls and windows in the room. Its becoming a bit of a Canucks man-cave.
